No. You can create a free Automatic FFL account, open FFL Dealer Management, and upload a current copy of your certificate without purchasing an ecommerce subscription.
Where do I upload my certificate?
Start at app.automaticffl.com and create your account. Then open FFLs and choose Upload FFL Certificates. Existing users can go directly to FFL Dealer Management.
What file types can I upload?
Automatic FFL supports PDFs and common image files. Merchants contributing a larger collection can also upload a ZIP from FFL Dealer Management.
What happens when my certificate expires?
Expired certificates are kept out of active use. Upload your renewed certificate to restore current certificate availability for your dealer record.
Can a merchant upload the certificate I sent them?
Yes. Participating merchants can upload certificates they already have. We process the upload, match it to the correct dealer, and keep expired copies out of active use.
